How a commission works

Made to order. Nothing is made before you order it. Your piece is cut and sewn by hand in your size. A design can be made for everyone who buys it, and each of those pieces is cut for its own buyer.

We charge when we accept, not when you order. We look at every piece before we cut it, which takes up to a week. If we take it on, we charge your card in full and the work starts: the tailor sources cloth and cuts to your measurements. If we cannot make it, you pay nothing. We email you either way.

Your piece ships as soon as it is finished. We don’t hold it back for an approval step. If something is objectively wrong when it reaches you, tell us from your orders page or write to us, and we remake it.

Final sale, except real defects. Nobody else can wear a garment cut to your measurements, so we can’t restock it and commissions are final sale. We always cover the wrong garment, the wrong colour against the renders, a missing detail you specified, and visible faults.

Delivery. Most pieces reach you within 21 business days of your order. A hand-cut garment sometimes takes longer. If yours is running late, write to us and we’ll tell you where it is.
